DRONE ROOF INSPECTION TRAINING! The Adjuster School, in partnership with Panton Incorporated provides leading edge Drone (Unmanned Aircraft System, UAS) Training for Insurance Adjusters, Roofers, Contractors, Inspectors, and others who have to complete roof inspections.
Our Drone Roof Inspection Training will allow you to complete roof inspections in a manner that is completely safe and much more efficient than climbing on roofs. Flying Drones will allow you to efficiently obtain photographs, assess the damages, and gather all of the pertinent measurements in a fraction of the time that it would take you to climb the roof to complete the inspection.
The Adjuster School DRONE ROOF INSPECTION TRAINING is 3 full days of hands-on classroom and field training. Our training consists of 3 key phases:
- Drone imagery, Drone flying and Drone safety training.
- Drone enabled Adjuster’s roof damage claim process.
- FAA 107 Certification Exam Prep.

** Drone Imagery, Drone flying, and Drone safety training – In this phase of the Drone Roof Inspection Training, you will receive extensive, and comprehensive instruction on how to safely fly and manage a Drone in accordance with all FAA rules and regulations. All images captured
** Drone enabled Adjuster’s roof damage claim process – In this phase of the training you will learn will receive training on how to utilize the Panton platform. Panton has developed enhanced 3D reconstruction technologies to automatically build roof models from 2D drone images. Each model consists of millions of data points which capture every detail of a particular roof. By utilizing this leading edge technology, you will no longer have to order fee based reports to obtain the measurements of a roof. The Panton platform provides more accurate roof measurement in terms of pitch, facet area, ridge/edge length. On top of that, Panton’s machine learning algorithms automatically detect the damages and categorize them accordingly. If you don’t like the damages detected by the computer, no problem, the annotation tool can assist you to correct them immediately. Each image taken by the Drone is of resolution 4000×3000 or above. The Panton platform also provides a seamless connection with Xactimate. The measurement export from the Panton platform can directly import into Xactimate in just seconds. The Panton platorm will allow you to work Smarter, not harder, all while maximizing safety while inspecting single story, multiple story roofs with any pitch.
** FAA 107 Certification Exam Preparation – Part 107, the new FAA commercial drone regulation, allows Drone pilots to fly UAS or UAVs for business purposes. To fly under Part 107, you need to pass the FAA Drone pilot test called the Airman Knowledge Test. The two hour, 60 question test requires preparation and study in order to pass. This phase of our Drone Roof Inspection Training will prepare you to successfully pass the exam on the first attempt. To obtain your Pilot’s license, you must: Pass part 107 of the FAA exam, be vetted by the Transportation Security Administration, and be at least 16 years old.
